This series explores the idealized landscape. The intimacy between the viewer and the environment, and our relationship to a place in nature, however fleeting, makes deep impressions that are both humbling and inspiring. In creating this work, I also started to consider how the concept of aesthetics is informed by nature and how our most basic perception of beauty originates back to our visual experiences in the natural world.
